Loops don't become tracks by accident, they follow a shape. See reference structures for House, Techno and Organic House side by side, section by section.
Try it
- Load the House structure and count how many sections happen before the first drop.
- Switch to Techno and compare section lengths. Notice what's longer and what's shorter.
- Pick the genre closest to your current project and map your own loop onto its sections.
What to listen for
Techno sections tend to run longer and change more gradually than House. If your loop has been stuck at 16 bars for an hour, the map shows exactly which section you're missing next.
