1. About these Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase and use of online courses sold by OHXALA RECORDS ACADEMY through ohxalarecords.com. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

2. Courses
We sell access to two self-paced online courses: EMPB (Electronic Music Production for Beginners, in English) and PMEI (Produção de Música Eletrónica para Iniciantes, in Portuguese). Each course includes structured video/text content, interactive browser-based tools, and access to the Mini Studio sketch environment.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in Euros and include VAT at the rate applicable to your country of residence within the EU, or no VAT if you are located outside the EU. Payment is processed at checkout via the payment methods offered (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and others as made available). Purchase is a one-time payment; courses are not subscriptions.
4. Delivery and access
Courses are delivered as virtual products. After payment is confirmed, we manually enrol you in our learning platform (Moodle) within 24 business hours, typically the same day. You will receive your login details by email once enrolled. Access, once granted, is lifetime access to that course, including future content updates.
5. Right of withdrawal
Under EU consumer law, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason. However, because our courses are digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, this right of withdrawal is lost once performance has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgment that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. By checking the corresponding box at checkout, you expressly request that access begin before the 14-day period ends and acknowledge the resulting loss of that right.
6. Refund policy
Independently of the legal withdrawal right described above, we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date your course access is granted. If the course isn’t right for you, contact us within 7 days and we will refund your payment in full, no questions asked. See our Refund and Returns Policy for details.
7. Licence to use course content
Purchasing a course grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the course content for your own learning. You may not resell, redistribute, publicly share, or create derivative products from the course materials without our prior written consent.
8. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for providing an accurate email address for enrolment and for keeping your Moodle login details confidential. You agree to use the course content and interactive tools for lawful, personal purposes only.
9. Limitation of liability
Courses are provided for educational purposes. We do not guarantee specific creative, commercial, or career outcomes from completing a course. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the course.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will apply to purchases made after the update is published. The version in force at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of Portugal, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence within the EU.
If you are an EU consumer and wish to resolve a dispute out of court, you can use the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
